Jenn Jones  (Incumbent)

​My name is Jenn Jones and I am running unopposed for reelection to the Brentwood Selectboard.  I have been on the Board for three years, and have served as Chair for the past two years. Over the past few years, the Selectboard has dealt with multiple challenges and has done some great work for the Town. We implemented a new modern Town website and installed updated AV equipment which allows for all committee and board meetings to be live-streamed. We standardized the process for applying to Town committees, and created both a Communications Committee and an Energy Committee. We supported the rebuilding of the Library amphitheater, and built a new road at the Rec center which eliminated a major pedestrian safety issue.  We worked with local and state officials to improve the safety of the South Road / Rte. 125 intersection. We have worked closely with the Brentwood Police to grow and strengthen the department, and are actively working with the Fire Department on a sustainable plan for the future. One of our main priorities has been the retention of Town employees, and we have adjusted wages as needed in order to competitively recruit and retain talented employees during a period of record inflation.  I’ve learned a lot during my first term and I’m looking forward to serving another three years on the Board.
