Vote These Candidates for
Planning Board

Ryan Hansen
My name is Ryan Hansen, and I want to introduce myself as a candidate for the Brentwood Planning Board. My wife and I have two small children, Hazel (age 6) and Miles (age 2). My daughter attends Kindergarten at the amazing Swasey Elementary School. Our family moved to Brentwood in 2021 from Newton NH when we had the opportunity to build our forever home in this beautiful community. I have worked in the Real Estate and Development field for the past 20 years, and have had the opportunity to work with both multi-family and single-family development projects.. For the last 9 years, I have had the opportunity to work for an amazing organization as Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Development for ConvenientMD Urgent Care. As the Senior VP of Real Estate and Development, it is my responsibility to conduct market selection research, meet with local Planning and Building officials, complete project due diligence and open clinics on time and on budget. As a representative of ConvenientMD, I have had the opportunity to present in front of over 30 different town planning boards across New England. One consistent thing I have noted across all of my planning board interactions is the lack of shared vision between the towns and their residents. Failure to put the needs of residents first often creates distrust in the system and ultimately holds the town back. If elected to the Brentwood Planning Board, I commit to listening to all perspectives, balancing fact-based decision-making, finding strategic solutions to grow tax revenue and protect what matters most to the residents of Brentwood. Thank you for your consideration.

Stephanie Kizza (Incumbent)
My name is Stefanie Kizza, and I am running for reelection for a seat on the Town of Brentwood’s Planning Board. It has been my pleasure to serve as a Planning Board member for the past three years, including serving as the Vice Chair during the last year. During my term I feel that I, along with my fellow board members and alternates, have been able to accomplish a lot for Brentwood. We were awarded several grants which have aided us with updating our Master Plan, and have helped us move forward with potential zoning ordinance changes which will better position the Town to achieve its goals as it relates to housing options. I have also had the opportunity to represent Brentwood on the Rockingham Planning Commission as both a Commissioner and member of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). Being involved in these groups has allowed me to advocate for Brentwood when there are potential funding opportunities for transportation projects.
As a practicing, licensed civil engineer I bring valuable experience and perspective to the Board. If reelected to the Planning Board, my goal will be to uphold the Town’s rules, regulations and ordinances while balancing the need for economic growth with the need for sustainable, resilient, and equitable development that protects the environment and the rural character of the Town.
